Q1What are Designerooms’ opening hours?

Mondays to Saturdays 10AM to 7PM, closing Sundays and public holidays.

Q2How do we find out if there is any availability?

Q3Do we need to reserve?

Please kindly contact us through phone or Whatsapp for reservation.

Q4Can we come for a workshop visit?

Yes, please kindly contact us through phone or Whatsapp so we can organise an induction program.

Q5Can we visit the Designerooms outside working hours?

Yes, it can be enquired with minimum 2 days notice in advance. Generally, the Designerooms closes at 10PM the latest.

Q6Is it possible to arrange private functions or workshops?

The Designerooms venue can be hired on Mondays to Saturdays after 7PM plus Sundays and public holidays. Booking essential please kindly enquire.

Q7What could we do when we encounter technical issues such as design, pattern making and sewing.

We have in house professional fashion designer and pattern maker to provide technical support.

Q8What do Designerooms provide in terms of garment manufacturing?

We provide basic tools for pattern making, cutting and sewing. Any consumable is provided at extra cost, like pattern art paper, thread and accessories, etc.

Q9Is there photocopying and scanning service?

We provide complimentary scanning. A4/A3 printing is available, please refer to our price list.

Q10Can we specify hot desks?

Monthly Pass member enjoys fixed desk privilege. All other members are first come first serve.

Q11Do we need to reserve pattern making table, sewing machine and bar table?

Booking essential for pattern making table and sewing machine. Bar table is common area for everyone to enjoy anytime.

Q12Do we need to reserve conference/ product shooting room?

Booking essential. Conference room suits 4-5 people, including fitting room, full length mirror and cloth hangers. It also acts as a product shooting room.

Q13Is it OK to go out in time of using the workshop?

Yes, daily and monthly pass consist of a returnable key card for easy access throughout opening hours. There is also complementary locker room. Hourly pass please kindly use door bell for access.

Q14What if I lose the key card or locker key?

There is a $50 cost and admin fee.

Q15Is it possible to use Designerooms’s address for mail?

Monthly pass member enjoys this service.

Q16Is it allow to make noise in the workshop?

Please be considerate while working at the Designerooms and keep noise to a minimum. The Designerooms reserve the right to terminate any inappropriate matter.

Q17Can we rent reference books?

Internal read only

Q18Can we consume food at the Designerooms?

Please be considerate and keep clean at all times. We provide steam oven cooker

Q19Is Designerooms provide drinks?

We provide complimentary coffee and tea. Please refer to our price list for all other beverages.

Q20What are the payment options?

We accept cash and Octopus card payment.

Q21Weather condition arrangement:

In case of hosting typhoon No. 8 and above or black rainstorm signal, providing the signal is canceled by 3PM, Designerooms shall open in 2 hours. If signal persists, Designerooms shall be closed for the day. Meanwhile, Designerooms shall be closed within an hour if weather condition worsened.
